Global Exchange and Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin is only one of many well-known leaders of the US left being attacked by self-described anarchists. If you're confused by this, you're not alone. The written version of this piece appeared in Counterpunch at the beginning of June.

Whatever one's views of the causes or justifications of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and regardless of what you believe might be the solution that might end the slaughter, of one obvious, inescapable reality we can all hopefully agree: the US just happens to be a major producer of most of Russia and Ukraine's biggest exports, such as gas, oil, corn, wheat, sunflower oil, and of course, arms and ammunition.

Saturday May 06, 2023
One of the things I got to do while I was on the east coast last week was spend some time with Al Glatkowski. I wrote this song over the course of a couple days after I got home from the trip.
